Why is it that doctors don't seem to be able to cure anything these days? Are they stupid? Are they lazy? Are they victims of the quick fix society that we all have come accustomed to? Are they being programmed by the FDA and the pharmacuetical companies to only prescribe medications to address symptoms so that the billionaires in these organizations can continue to feed off of the illnesses of the sick and huddled masses?
I think that the latter is the best explanation of what is going on in America today, although I will admit that many doctors are also stupid, lazy, or just pressured by their patients for a quick fix. I for one am fed up with just being one of the ignorant masses that plays into the hands of the ultra-wealthy that run this country and exploits its people. I have made a decision to get off the pharmacuetical ferris wheel and get back to basics in order to regain my health and vitality that I once had as a younger man.
In my journey to get back in tip-top shape, I am not going to go off the charts and become a complete psycho about all of the things out in the world that are killing us (which is easy to do when you start to open your eyes to everything that is out there). I am simply going to make some lifestyle changes that I think will allow my body to properly repair and heal itself without the use of pharmacueticals.
My hopes in starting this blog are the following:
1. Track the changes that I am making in order to see what works and does not work for me.
2. Allow those that are helping me along to way to see what I have tried so that they can help me decide what needs to be pursued next.
3. Possibly help lead someone else down this path of self discovery so that they can heal themselves as well.
Feel free to join me on this journey and to make any comments that you think would be helpful to myself or others on this topic.
Great post Chris! You're definitely taking some good steps towards awakening. Questioning things and people in life is very healthy indeed. From my own experience I can tell you that when you do the research and start to apply some of principles of good diet and proper excercise you'll see improvements in your body and mind. It's not an easy journey because at times you'll feel like your crazy but soon you'll realize that everyone else might be crazy.
ReplyDeleteI just got back from a yoga workshop in Santa Fe this weekend and watched a 62 year old man do things that defied all convention. He was more healthy and fit then most people in their 20s. I say this being a former collegiate track athlete that's competed with gold medalists.
Keep it up and I look forward to seeing your results.
Love it Chris, well said. You know its all those dame pharma reps that bribe the doctors into giving unethical recommendations... its a wonder those guys are able to sleep at night.
